I am a 50 year old wife, mother and grandmother. I reside in a tiny Hamlet in England. I decided to have a go at blogging in a bid to heal myself from old, sustaining life wounds. This blog is for no one’s benefit but mine, I am not an experienced writer, author or blogger but I am a well seasoned human being that is in desperate need of healing – Healing on a mental, spiritual and psychical level. This is where I hope to put my life into some sort of order, this is where I hope to reach some kind of peace that is going to allow me to finally be happy with myself.
I recently experienced a spiritual awakening which has led me to believe that I must face my demons before I can progress further along that path. In order for me to be able to do this I have realised that I must deal with the past in some way. I have had mental health issues that re-surface from time to time, I have had ‘professional’ help but to no avail so by blogging my thoughts I am hoping it will prove to be a cathartic release of the bondage that has held me captive all my life.
I hope this blog will not be viewed as another of the ‘misery memoirs’ but rather that of a woman who desperately wants to heal herself so that she may live her autumn years with some peace and tranquility.
Because segments of my life have been filled with so much depression, sadness and trauma, still now at 50 years old I find it hard to put things in to the correct time frame….. I still do not know how best I can write about things but I have concluded that for now, I shall write as my memories re-surface and as daily happenings happen….so it will be very mixed I suppose.
In short this is about my past and the present.
